Day Six - Get to St. Andrews

Since Cathie and the girlies were in Edinburgh and I was in Durham, my job was to meet them in St Andrews. As occassionally happens, my day went a bit smoother.

I took the train from Durham. This was a new approach to St Andrews for me, coming up along the coast. Unfortunately, the auto focus on mcamera failed me miserably.  Here are the best photos.

 

 

And that, was my day. I arrived at Leuchars around 1:00. By the time I bussed and taxied to the Fairmount, it was 2:00. Cathie and the girlies arrived close to 4:30.

We went to dinner at The Steak Barn at Balgove, but those pictures are on Cathie and Alexandra's phones. Plus, you don't really come here to see dinner photos.

Afterwards, we went back to e hotel to make sure my clothes were pressed for the next day.

Some holiday afternoons are spent in hotel lobby bars and aren't very interesting.
